Nox SIP – Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Nox SIP Android app (“the app”). By installing or using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the app is

Nox SIP is a SIP client. It connects to a SIP server that you choose and configure. We do not provide SIP accounts, phone numbers or call minutes.
It also lets you read and send SMS over your SIM, record calls on your phone, and back up your data in an encrypted file, locally or to your own Google Drive. See the Privacy Policy.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your SIP provider account, its charges and its terms. Calls and SMS may cost money.
Emergency calls: do not rely on the app for emergency calls. Use your phone’s normal cellular dialer.
Call recording: recording laws differ by country. You are responsible for telling the other person and getting consent where the law requires it.
Keep your backup password. If you forget it, an encrypted backup cannot be opened by you or by us.
Use the app only for lawful purposes and with accounts and numbers you are allowed to use.

Reliability

Voice and message delivery depend on your internet connection, your SIP provider, your mobile network and your phone’s power settings. Some phones restrict background apps; you may need to allow the app to run in the background for incoming calls to ring.

Updates

We may release updates and change or remove features over time.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will always work, be error-free or fit your particular SIP provider or phone.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, NoxBrain is not liable for missed or failed calls or messages, call charges, lost data or backups, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Ending use

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may stop or change the app at any time.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change and change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
